Inspired by the ancient rock art of Damaidi in Ningxia, this 9.5 fl oz (280 ml) cup is crafted from Yellow River clay and fine Tengger Desert sand, then wood-fired at approximately 2372°F (1300°C).

Inspired by the ancient rock art of Damaidi in Ningxia, the Night Desert Daylily Cup brings an ancient botanical motif into a contemporary coffee and tea ritual.

Yellow River Clay: Wheel-thrown from natural Yellow River clay, then individually trimmed and finished by hand.
Tengger Desert Sand: Fine desert sand is incorporated into the surface finish, contributing natural mineral character and depth.
Wood-Fired at 2372°F: Fired at approximately 1300°C, allowing flame, ash, minerals, and heat to shape the final surface.
Natural Mineral Luster: The glossy finish develops through high-temperature mineral reactions, giving the dark surface its distinctive depth and sheen.
Ancient Rock Art Motif: The daylily-inspired imagery draws from the ancient Damaidi rock art of Ningxia, reinterpreted through individual carving.
